MILWAUKEE, Jan. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation (MGIC), the principal subsidiary of MGIC Investment Corporation (NYSE: MTG), has hired Sean Dilweg as Senior Vice President – Government Relations. In his newly created position, Mr. Dilweg will lead MGIC's Washington, D.C. government relations activities relating to housing policy to help shape the discussion of the issues impacting the private mortgage insurance industry.

Mr. Dilweg joins MGIC from CUNA Mutual Group where he most recently served as the President of CMG Mortgage Insurance Company. In addition to his mortgage insurance industry experience, Mr. Dilweg is the former Insurance Commissioner of Wisconsin and held various roles in government making him uniquely qualified for his new role at MGIC.
Mr. Dilweg earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Lawrence University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
